Jonathan Wells, AMS (3-6), M.S.Ed - Head of School
Jonathan Wells was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. After graduating with a B.A. in Journalism at Michigan State University, he moved to New York City, where he lived for 9 years, working in various educational institutions. Jonathan studied at Hunter College and received a M.S. in Early Childhood and Special Education from Concordia College in Bronxville, NY. During that time, he also worked as an assistant teacher at a public Montessori school and became captivated by the beauty, intellect, and dignity granted to children, as well as the ways in which the children granted these values to those around them. He studied at Westside Montessori School's Teacher Education Program and finished his credential as a Primary guide from Northeast Montessori Institute in Cambridge. He's lived in Massachusetts for 5 years, frequently visiting his grandparents in Braintree, and visiting the trees and ocean found here.

Jonathan holds an American Montessori Society (AMS) teaching credential from Westside Montessori School's Teacher Education Program and the Northeast Montessori Institute in Cambridge. His extensive experience as an Early Childhood educator in both private and public Montessori school settings has inspired his compassionate and whole-child centered approach to classroom leadership.

Yanan holds a Master’s degree in Instructional Design and Technology from Virginia Tech and is excited to begin her Montessori teacher training. With over a decade of teaching experience in both the United States and China, she brings a rich background in education, language instruction, and cross-cultural communication. Her academic training includes coursework in learning message design, interactive media, and program evaluation, all of which support her thoughtful, student-centered approach to teaching.
From 2011 to 2016, Yanan taught English at the middle school level at Sanxin Bilingual School in Guangdong Province, China. She has since taught Chinese language courses at Virginia Tech and currently serves as both a volunteer teacher and vice-principal at Blacksburg Chinese School. Her experience spans traditional classrooms, digital learning platforms, and community-based educational environments. Deeply committed to fostering independence, curiosity, and cultural understanding, Yanan’s values and teaching style align closely with the Montessori philosophy.

Juichi Lin holds a Master’s degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from Boston University and brings over two and a half years of experience in early childhood education. She is enrolled in AMI teacher training and fluent in both English and Chinese and is deeply loved by the young children she works with.
