About Us
Peninsula Montessori Academy is a warm, child-centered Montessori community committed to fostering independence, curiosity, compassion, and a lifelong love of learning. As a growing school, we are excited to announce the opening of our second Montessori Primary classroom for the 2025–2026 school year. We are seeking a dedicated, credentialed Montessori Early Childhood Educator who is passionate about guiding children ages 3–6 through authentic Montessori practice.

Position Overview
The Primary Lead Guide will create and maintain a nurturing, respectful, and thoughtfully prepared Montessori environment. The ideal candidate is a reflective practitioner who values collaboration, embraces child-led learning, and is eager to contribute to a growing school with a strong sense of community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a Montessori Primary classroom for children ages 3–6 following the principles and standards of an authentic Montessori education
  • Prepare, maintain, and elevate an organized environment rich in purposeful materials and opportunities for independence
  • Observe children daily and use observations to guide individualized lessons and support whole-child development
  • Collaborate with classroom assistants, fellow guides, and administrative staff to uphold a cohesive school culture
  • Communicate regularly and respectfully with families, providing insight into children’s growth and the Montessori curriculum
  • Foster peaceful conflict resolution, grace and courtesy, and a deep respect for each child’s unique developmental path
  • Participate in school events, ongoing professional development, and community-building initiatives

Qualifications

  • Montessori Early Childhood (3–6) credential from an accredited training program (AMI, AMS, MACTE, or equivalent) — required
  • Three plus years of Classroom experience in a Montessori Primary environment preferred
  • Passion for Montessori philosophy and commitment to supporting each child’s individual journey
  • Strong classroom management skills grounded in respect, empathy, and observation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain before start date)

We are seeking a Montessori Education Manager – North America to oversee the implementation of curriculum, professional training, and program quality across all locations.

Job Responsibilities

Curriculum Management & Educational Oversight

Develop, implement, and evaluate a unified Montessori curriculum across all campuses (ages 0–6+).

Supervise curriculum delivery to ensure consistency with Montessori pedagogy.

Regularly review and update curriculum materials to reflect current best practices in Montessori education.

Teacher Training & Staff Supervision

Plan and conduct training programs for Montessori educators and support staff.

Supervise instructional personnel and provide coaching and mentorship.

Evaluate teaching performance and implement improvement plans as needed.

Quality Assurance & Program Evaluation

Conduct site visits to monitor program effectiveness and adherence to educational standards.

Establish and maintain administrative procedures for educational service delivery.

Ensure alignment with Montessori methodology, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.

Resource & Budget Management

Oversee procurement and use of Montessori learning materials across all locations.

Coordinate with vendors and ensure resources meet safety and pedagogical standards.

Manage budget allocations related to curriculum, staffing, and materials.

Strategic Coordination

Collaborate with senior management to align education strategies with organizational objectives.

Facilitate cross-campus communication and sharing of best practices.

Prepare reports and make recommendations for program improvement.

Qualifications

Required:

AMI or AMS-accredited Montessori certificate in both 0–3 and 3–6 years.

At least one certificate at the Head Teacher level.

Montessori Administration certificate.

Minimum 3 years of Montessori classroom teaching experience.

Proven related management experience 

Strong understanding of Montessori philosophy, materials, and pedagogy.

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
