Peninsula Montessori Academy (Peninsula) is a growing international family of schools that follows the American Montessori Society (AMS) standards. Our AMS member schools are engaged in the AMS Pathway to Accreditation program to ensure that exceptional Montessori education is provided. We are committed to establishing an environment that encourages children to reach their full potential while nurturing a love for learning. This is accomplished through a whole-child approach emphasizing academic success and personal growth. We strive to provide a supportive, enriching atmosphere for our staff and to build a welcoming and collaborative relationship with parents and families.
Our experienced and dedicated teachers are trained in the Montessori method and are committed to supporting each child's individual growth and development. We are committed to meeting American Montessori Society (AMS) membership requirements in our new locations. After the mandatory three-year waiting period, we will seek accreditation. Our teachers have received training from a MACTE-accredited training program, such as AMS or Association Montessori International (AMI).
Nurturing Every Child’s Potential
Fostering intellectual, emotional, and social growth through personalized, hands-on learning. Rooted in respect for individual learning styles and pace, we cultivate curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.
We meet each child with curiosity and faith in their potential. Children will demonstrate their greatest capabilities by engaging in an environment built on secure, loving relationships and engaging with hands-on learning materials responsive to their interests and developmental needs.
We build an open, welcoming partnership with families and the broader community. We value diversity and are committed to promoting connection and understanding among all community members.
As educators, we are deeply dedicated to Montessori philosophy. We prioritize reflective practices and ongoing growth, informed by the latest research and best practices, to ensure that we provide your child with the best possible education.

Vince initially helped high school students with college preparation but quickly realized that many of the issues they faced couldn’t be addressed at that stage. After learning about Montessori pedagogy, he discovered that the most critical period for child development is from birth to age 6. This insight inspired him to shift his focus and start his career in Montessori education.
Since founding Peninsula Montessori Academy, Vince has successfully expanded the school to several locations across Canada and the United States. A graduate of UBC's Sauder School of Business, Vince brings a unique blend of business acumen and educational passion to his work. He and his wife, Sissi, are proud parents of two children who are nearly in elementary school, further fueling their dedication to fostering early childhood learning.
